today is a day of ordinary "USUAL-ness" (its my own word in my own dictionary, OK!) : school, study, home. hahaha. but, of course, something else happened like, another birthday celebration occurred today, AGAIN: Hui Ning's Birthday! they prepared a "mango-flavored" cake (i dnt know if its a mango cake, but its yellow in color), and we all ate it. OOPS! it wasn't actually "we" who ate it all, i ddnt eat my share, i just gave it to swastika. i still took my cake slice instead of giving it to those who weren't able to get a slice because swastika said she wanna eat mine, too. hahaha. She's so.. "voracious". hahaha. just kidding girl!ü (*fyi: i just learn that word today, as in, before i typed it. hahaha.)
ok.. ok.. im done saying stuff about that "occurrence".. after that, the cake wasn't totally finished when Mrs Chew stepped inside our classroom. as soon as i saw her inside the class, i thought of "OMG,physics remedial time now! (2.30pm-3.30pm) ". hahaha. oh well.. we just went through our "understanding physics" book about waves and whatsoever. then... (about 3.45pm).. "GO HOME TIMEY!!!".. yhey! hahaha.
Speaking of physics stuff, i was surfing the net, randomly, when i saw this "fact" related to physics.
Why is the sky blue? When sunlight travels through the atmosphere, it collides with gas molecules. These molecules scatter the light. The shorter the wavelength of light, the more it is scattered by the atmosphere. Because it has a shorter wavelength than the other colours, blue light is scattered more, ten times more than red light, for instance. That is why the sky is blue. Why does the setting sun look reddish orange? When the sun is on the horizon, its light takes a longer path through the atmosphere to reach your eyes than when the sun is directly overhead. By the time the light of the setting sun reaches your eyes, most of the blue light has been scattered out. The light you finally see is reddish orange, the colour of white light minus blue.
**you may have known this Q&A but i dont! hahaha. =) **
My mum named me: Ara Katrina Giron Herrero.
I first feel the air on March 14,1992
around 11.52pm
when my mum was lying down in one of the beds in Manila Doctors Hospital
I first learned my ABC's in Casa Real Montessori School in Imus Cavite (used to be in Bacoor),
continued my algebras in Yuying Secondary School in Singapore
and taking up Bachelor of Arts in Digital Filmmaking at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde.
I grew up being a Proud Filipino
and a God-fearing Christian.
