 midnight post. @ 1/10/2010 02:04:00 AM
Had a great day that's why i am still awake. hahaha.. Since i couldn't sleep.. gotta post some stuff. hehehe... I posted our fun trip pictures on facebook and my multiply. go check it out! hahaha.. BECAUSE .... 1st stop: Ate Angi's house.. (celebration of her bday Ü) 2nd stop: bowling @marina!! :) 3rd stop: dinner @ makansutra 4th stop: esplanade (tour ate vivian!) started the day 3pm.. and called it a day by 11.30pm.. Anyway.. i'd like to share some stuff... Latin phrases we use frequently.. I always get curious with stuff that i do researches. That's why google is very helpful, really! I was wondering, " What does P.S. means after notes or letters? I got the answer!! :D It is from the Latin words Post Scriptum meaning After letter .
In a written communication, “P.S.” stands for the Latin phrase post scriptum, which means “after writing.” It is meant to reflect the fact that the text marked with “P.S.” was added after the other material had already been written, as an afterthought. You may also see a “P.P.S.” below a “P.S.,” and potentially one could create a cascade of “P.P.P.S.'s” and “P.P.P.P.S.'s,” although this is generally viewed as bad form.(source: wisegreek.com)
ANOTHER ONE ... After that, i was watching the movie, "I Love You, Beth Cooper" and heard this phrase "Carpe Diem" so i got curious again and so some research...
From Latin meaning "Seize the day" ... Used as an admonition to seize the pleasures of the moment without concern for the future..
Usually translated from the Latin as 'seize the day', or sometimes as 'enjoy the day, pluck the day when it is ripe'. (source: phrases.org.uk)
